The Composer
I didn't set out to become a composer. I was looking for a recording of Niggun Yaaleh in a style I couldn't find anywhere, so I arranged it myself. That was the beginning.
From there, composing became its own pursuit — solo works, chamber pieces, orchestral writing — all self-taught, built by doing.
My musical upbringing shaped my ear in ways I don't always notice, but my classical work isn't a conscious fusion. It's simply what comes out when I sit down to write.
What I want, more than anything, is for the music to feel inevitable. Like it couldn't have existed any other way — and like you couldn't have gone without hearing it.
